Описание:

Length: 5–15 µm. AF 2.5–3×BL; PF 1.5×BL. AF movement quite slow, smooth and languid; movement restricted to distal half when travelling. Cell movement: when not in slowly progressing motile phase, remains in one location and extends thin, branching, pseudopodia/filopodia, which can anastomose intra- and more rarely inter-cellularly. Cytoplasmic tail can be 2–3×BL in motile stage; otherwise no more frequent than production of branching pseudopodia. Very long filose branching pseudopodia all over cell; finger-like and lamellar pseudopodia less frequent. Very metabolic. 1–3 CVs in various locations. Form a network and pre-plasmodial clusters. Cysts about 5 (-10?) µm, smooth, infrequent. (по: Bass et al., 2009)
