Length: 5-8 µm. AF stubby; PF 1.5 × BL. AF movement quite rigid, usually held perpendicular to the cell’s anterior-posterior axis and sweeps. Cell movements low and steady, progress quite direct. Cytoplasmic tail. Fine finger-like pseudopodia most often at posterior end; less frequent bulbous and lamellar pseudopodia at posterior end. Somewhat metabolic. 2 CVs, 1 in anterior half, 1 in posterior. Occasionally 3 present. Cysts not seen, but cells can become rounded and inactive. (по: Bass et al., 2009)
