Описание:

Cell broad sack-shaped, about 30 µm long, about 15 µm wide. Anterior collar about 12 µm in diameter with a regular outline. Pellicular striations fine and closely spaced, following an S-helix, continuing onto the expanded collar. Canal opening subapical. Flagellum about the length of the cell. Ingestion organelle well developed, composed of 2 separate rods, connected to the exterior via the cytostome in the base of the collar. Second flagellum not observed but probably present in reservoir. Nucleus situated in the posterior part of the cell. (по: Larsen, Patterson, 1990)
